The labels for this product claim SMB is a "Premium"
Automatic Transmission Fluid and recommends it for
use in all transmissions requiring Dexron III or
Mercon fluids. In fact, the viscosity and flash
point of the fluid tested fall far below the
specifications for Dexron III and Mercon fluids. Use
of a fluid with this low of a viscosity can cause
unsatisfactory performance and/or damage to
automatic transmissions. This product is not
suitable for the intended uses it recommends.
