The results of the tests conducted on this sample meet the requirements of API SN/GF-5, with the exception of the CCS Viscosity @ -30°C, which is very slightly higher than the specification for an SAE 5W-30. The viscosity does, however, fall well within the API expanded range, which takes into account test reproducibility.

The following is a comparison of the test results for the sample of PROLINE All Season 5W-30 tested with the API SN ILSAC GF-5 requirements.
The viscometrics meet the required targets for a 5W-30,with the exception of the CCS Viscosity @ -30°C, which is very slightly higher than the specification for an SAE 5W-30. The viscosity does, however, fall well within the API expanded range, which takes into account test reproducibility.
